Industrial paintings department can characterize painted installations and products in automobil, aeronautic, surface treatments section and in every section which require product painting. It can also validate process. This department is also used as a support for developpment of news paintings.
Applications
Mechanical tests :
Impact tests : scaling, loss of adhesion (ISO 6272, ASTM D2794). A ballasted marble is dropped from a variable height (maximum 1 meter) on the tested surface.
Drift expanding tests : crimp and separation by bending resistance (ISO 1519)
BUCHHOLTZ Indentation : BUCHHOLTZ hardness measurement on organic coating (ISO 2815). The surface is scratched by a ballasted wheel, the evolution of the size of the scratch is then watched over time.
Squaring test : standard test for adhesive control of coating (ISO 2409, NFT30-038, ASTM 3359). This test associates the making of a gridon the painted surface with a normalized paintbrush and tear off tests with the use of normalized sticky tape.

Slow and progressive deformation caused by the rise of a ball in contact with test piece (ISO 1520)
Thikness controls
:
POSITECHTOR : Thikness measurement of liquids or powder paintings after cooking on steel or aluminium steel.
POWDER SAVE : Thickness control without contact of deposit of painting powders before cooking. Apparatus for putting new production into operation or a control during the production for powder installations.

RENAULT agreement for climatic tests ECC1
These aged tests have the particularity to alternate salt spray and climatic tests in the same cabinet.
Our agreement concern the RENAULT method test:

VÖTSCH test chamber : This test chamber can stimulate the ageing of a piece after an extanded exposure to sunlight combined with specific climatic conditions (temperature and humidity).
CLIMATIS test chamber : Realization of alternated cycles of Slat spray and climatic periods.
Other test chambers : Salt spray (H2S, SO2,...)
Colorimetric tests :
Colour assessment cabinet for visual control by comparaison with reference sample under different lighting : appearence, coulour, brightness. Different type of light are possible according to the use of your finish product : black, yellow, white light.
Colorimetry : Characterization of color by the measure of lenght of waves emitted by painting under a specific light according to the DIN 5033 standard.

Respectful technologies of the environment for cleaning
Cleaning system of vacuum using the modified alcool as solvent. The temperature of treatment is 80°C.
